Cherry Studio

Add TokenFlux to Cherry Studio and chat with catalog models on one key

Cherry Studio is a desktop AI client. After you add TokenFlux as a provider, you can chat with TokenFlux catalog models in Cherry Studio. Each request is charged to your TokenFlux balance.

This guide uses the labels of Cherry Studio 2.1.6 in English.

Before you start

  1. On API keys, create a key and copy it. The full key is shown only once.
  2. Make sure that your account has a balance. Requests fail when the balance is empty. Add funds on Billing.

Add the provider

  1. In Cherry Studio, open Settings, then Model Provider.
  2. Click Add Provider.
  3. Set Provider Name to TokenFlux.
  4. Paste your TokenFlux key into API Key.
  5. Under Endpoint settings, set the OpenAI field to https://tokenflux.ai. Leave the other fields empty.
  6. Make sure that the line below the field shows Request path: https://tokenflux.ai/v1/chat/completions.
  7. Click Add.

Cherry Studio adds /v1 to the address, so https://tokenflux.ai and https://tokenflux.ai/v1 both work. Do not end the address with #. With #, Cherry Studio uses the address exactly as written and does not add /v1.

Choose models

After you click Add, the Choose models dialog opens. The list comes from GET /v1/models.

  1. Select the chat models that you want to use.
  2. Click Add selected models.
  3. Click Verify and enable. Cherry Studio sends one short request to a selected model, then turns on the provider.
  4. Click Done.

Prices are on Models and pricing. The token count and cost of each request are on the Usage page.

Troubleshooting

The model list is empty, or verification fails. Open the TokenFlux provider and check the address. The request path must be https://tokenflux.ai/v1/chat/completions. Then check that the key is enabled on the API keys page and that your balance is above zero.

A model is missing. Cherry Studio shows only the models in the TokenFlux catalog. Compare with Models and pricing.
